Mary Owens - Training Director
Over 30 years experience as an exhibitor, breeder and trainer of dogs. Mary is a certified canine behaviourist and Associate of the Pet Behaviour Institute, John Rogerson - Northern Centre for Animal Behaviour, UK. She is a Championship Canine Obedience, Working Trials and Breed judge.
Mary has judged dogs under Irish and English Kennel Club Rules and has established a successful track record with her own dogs and her pupils in these fields. She writes and lectures as far a field as America on the subject of dog obedience training.
Mary is a founder member of the Border Collie Club of Ireland. She is training Director of Fircroft Training Centre. She is a Life Associate Member of the Irish Kennel Club and served for many years as a member of the Ard Chomhairle & Obedience Rules Committees of the Irish Kennel Club. Dogs trained by Mary have starred in many feature films, TV series and commercials. Mary, herself is now a familiar face to Irish & UK television audiences through her work on Young Line, Live at Three, PM Live, The Late Late and TV3.
Rita Moloney – Administrator
Rita is a qualified Obedience, Agility and Working Trials judge and has judged dogs under both Irish and English Kennel Club Rules. She is an experienced trainer and competitor in all three disciplines.
Rita is a certified canine behaviourist and associate member of the Irish Kennel Club. She has also established a highly successful track record as Animal Co-ordinator to the Film Industry.
